Cribbage Gondola

This cribbage board was inspired by the Greek myth of Charon or Kharon (“Karen”), the ferryman of Hades, the Greek underworld. He was believed to ferry souls to the afterlife. Ancient Greeks buried people with coins on their eyes or mouth to pay for passage. Those that could not pay the fee or had not been given funeral rites had to wander the shores for a hundred years.
